USA Nationals Results and State Results!

Sandpiper Cody Miller becomes 18 and Under National Champion in the 100 and 200 yard breaststrokes at Nationals and returns to the Nevada State Meet to win the 100 Backstroke and 50 freestyle. The 100 Backstroke was swum in State Record/Team Record time and he just missed the state record in the 50 free by .10 of a second going a new team record time of 20.89.

Olivia Barker set two State Records in 100 Backstroke and 200 Butterfly, and while at USA Nationals set new team records in the 100/200 Butterflies and 200 IM.

Sandpipers Best Team on the Books in 2009, the team finished 100 points higher than the 2004 Sandpiper State Champions. With only a handful of Seniors leaving our program this year we can expect a tight scoring battle in Carson City, presidents day weekend 2011. Start getting ready to go after the Crown in 2011!
