Summer Sectionals
Amanda Guerrero breaks four
records in four different events!
Amanda Guerrero breaks four team
records with a record time for 17-18 girls 100 backstroke with a
new time of 1:10.13 breaking her old record of 1:11.21. She also
broke the 200 backstroke record with a new time of 2:30.72 the old
record was held by Jodi Hashagen in 2:31.50 in 1998. Amanda better
her team record in the 17-18 girls 200 IM to 2:27.77 her old record
was 2:30.50 and she lowered her 400 IM record time of 5:13.55 to a
5:12.13.
Open 400 Medley Relay record
broken by Amanda Guerrero, Meghan Boland, Marley Maluafiti, and
Lindsey Englestead with a time of 4:35.80 breaking the old record
of 4:36.62 held by Dana Benedict, Lindsey Leeming, Angelina
Colavito, and Cassy Bright in 2002.
Meghan Boland tops the number of
records broken in the 15-16 and Open Girls 100 Breaststroke with a
new time of 1:14.33 breaking the 15-16 record held by Lindsey
Englestead with a time of 1:18.55, and the Open record held by
Meghan last year with a time of 1:15.65. She also broke the 200
Breaststroke record for 15-16 and Open girls with a new time of
2:36.46 breaking the old record of 2:43.14 held by Lindsey
Englestead with a time of 2:43.14 and the Open record time of
2:40.89 held by Lindsey Englestead in 2009.
Billy Gravley bettered his 15-16
boys 400 free record from a 4:13.76 to a 4:12.96 and the 15-16
& Open boys 800 freestyle record from 8:38.86 to
8:38.59.
Hannon Daigler bettered his 17-18
and Open boys 200 backstroke record to a 2:11.82 lowering it from a
2:14.10.
